Daniel Lyle is an Army veteran, entrepreneur, and certified personal trainer with over a decade of experience in fitness and community leadership. As President of Omaha MAD DADS, he draws on his personal journey of transformation, leadership skills, and passion for empowering others to address violence and uplift families in Omaha. Daniel is pursuing a master’s degree in Leadership Communications at Bellevue University and is the founder of Muscle House Academy, a platform for personal, physical, and spiritual development. His mission is to inspire others to live rich and die empty by creating lasting positive change.
Wendell V. Stanley is a devoted urban missionary, entrepreneur, and community leader with over 30 years of ministry experience. Ordained to teach the gospel in 1990, he has dedicated his life to transforming inner-city communities through fervent prayer, bold teaching, and selfless service. Since relocating to Omaha in 2001, Wendell has collaborated on church plants, served on nonprofit boards, and launched small businesses aimed at empowering others. As Vice President of Omaha MAD DADS, he leverages his faith and leadership to inspire change and strengthen the community.
Joe Taylor is a dedicated financial professional and community leader committed to helping individuals and families secure their financial futures. With expertise in insurance, retirement planning, college funding, and lifetime income strategies, he provides tailored solutions to meet diverse financial needs. As Chairman of the Board for Omaha MAD DADS, Joe applies his leadership and strategic insight to drive the organization's mission of community upliftment, ensuring lasting impact through mentorship, advocacy, and support for at-risk individuals.
Dr. K. Hawkins is a seasoned human services professional and the CEO of Dr. K. Hawkins Counseling, Coaching, and Motivational Services LLC. Known as the "Resiliency Specialist," she has over 20 years of experience working with at-risk youth and families. Raised in Omaha, she is passionate about improving lives through education, advocacy, and resource access. As Vice Chairman of Omaha MAD DADS, Dr. Hawkins leverages her expertise to promote resilience and drive positive change in the community.
Buffy Bush is a nonprofit leader with expertise in homicide grief support, crisis intervention, and community engagement. She is the founder of Families of the Stolen (FOTS) and Director of SHERO Omaha, organizations focused on supporting families after loss and addressing Black infant mortality. Buffy holds advanced degrees in Nonprofit Administration and Behavioral Science, using her skills to help others heal and thrive. As Treasurer of Omaha MAD DADS, she plays a vital role in fostering financial stability and community impact.
Gabriel Freeman is a licensed insurance agent and financial professional with expertise in college funding, retirement planning, and lifetime income strategies. As a Registered Representative with NYLIFE Securities LLC, he is dedicated to helping individuals and families build financial security. In his role as Secretary of Omaha MAD DADS, Gabriel brings his organizational skills and strategic mindset to support the organization's mission of mentoring and uplifting the community through advocacy, leadership, and service.
